Position: Collections Specialist

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1+ Year of customer service, collections, call center, or sales experience
  • Excellent speaking, listening and customer service skills
  • Professional and personable demeanor over the phone
  • Knowledge of basic computer operation, including internet research and data entry
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
The Hours:
  • 3 weekdays (including Friday) – 8:00am – 4:45pm
  • 2 weekdays (Mon., Tues., or Thurs.) – 12:00pm – 8:45pm

Our Account Resolution Specialists/Collectors work in a call center environment within our professional law office setting. They are responsible for making outbound calls to consumers of our clients and taking inbound calls from said consumers. As a third party representing our clients, they notify and/or locate consumers with delinquent loans and attempt to secure payment according to compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), guidelines, and client standards. Position: Compliance Analyst

  • Strong quantitative reasoning skills and enjoys solving difficult problems
  • Comfortable communicating across teams, multitasking, and working with data
  • Aptitude for developing broad range of technical skills, e.g., querying databases, understanding and/or creating computer code is also important.
  • 1-3 years of experience in compliance or other relevant environment

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail oriented, organized and proactive person with an interest in learning the US regulatory environment for trading firms. In addition, you will also assist in the following:

  • Investigate regulatory reporting issues
  • Perform data management and analysis
  • Execute manual reporting flows and otherwise directly assist with the handling of regulatory reporting exceptions and corrections
  • Aid in macro-level project management as we continually seek to improve existing projects and procedures

You may also help interpret the regulatory reporting rules in the context of the firm’s business, assist in writing and maintaining the firm’s policies with regards to those rules, and work with developers to implement or modify the firm’s systems to insure compliance and monitor adherence.

Ultimately, you will gain an excellent understanding of the firm’s trade flows and how the regulatory reporting rules impact them. The person in this role will collaborate with traders, legal and compliance, developers and operations on a regular basis.
